WHAT TO DO

When travelling to Bled and planning to stay for a few days, we recommend renting a car to explore the area more fully. There are many sights worth seeing nearby. Our favourite is walking around the lake, which takes about an hour along a beautiful pathway right by the water.

For stunning views of Bled Island, hike up to Bled Castle, perched high on a cliff. An even better view can be found by hiking up Mala Osojnica. The hike isn’t long, but good shoes are essential.
