WHERE TO STAY ON KOH SAMUI?
We had an incredible stay at the Tropical Season Villa Resort. The resort offers private pool villas nestled in the jungle. While it is a bit off the main road, the location is perfect for a tropical getaway, and everything remains easily accessible by car or motorbike.
Our villa was very well equipped with a kitchen, living room, and a beautiful bedroom. They even provide a free Netflix account. The highlight for us was the private pool. We loved spending some of our days just relaxing at our villa in the heart of the jungle. You can check the availability here. Check the availability on Booking.com.
There are also more affordable options on Koh Samui, such as Palm Coco Mantra, situated directly at the beach with amazing reviews, or even more luxurious options like Melia Koh Samui which is considered one of the best accommodations on the island.

One of the best things to order for breakfast is the Cocoa Chia Pudding, served with banana, coconut yogurt, and mango puree. All their coffee can be enjoyed with almond, oat, or soy milk, and the coffee beans are sourced from Chiang Mai.
For lunch, you must try their amazing bowls. Our favourite is the Tempeh bowl served with fresh avocado, brown rice, and vegetables. You can also try their Mexican burrito wrap, and they even offer vegan-friendly wines!

HOW TO GET AROUND KOH SAMUI?
The best way to explore any Thai island is by renting a motorbike. It’s easy and gives you the freedom to go wherever and whenever you want. Another good choice is to rent a car. If you’re not into motorbikes, simply rent a taxi or use Grab as public transportation isn’t the most convenient.”
There are many exciting things to do on Koh Samui. Visit the Samui Elephant Sanctuary, the first ethical sanctuary on the island. Thanks to support, they opened a second allowing more rescued elephants to live with dignity and respect. During their tour, they offer a light vegetarian meal, including vegan options, and fresh fruit.
Explore Koh Samui’s Big Buddha temple, Wat Phra Yai, with its 12-meter-tall, seated Buddha statue. Check out the famous Hin Ta and Hin Yai beaches. Nature lovers shouldn’t miss the stunning Namuang Waterfall.
But the most important thing to do on Koh Samui is to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches and nature.
Koh Samui truly is the perfect destination. I believe everyone can find something for themselves here, whether traveling on a tight budget or enjoying a luxurious vacation. Moreover, it is one of those tropical destinations where finding vegan food is not a problem.
